How to be an executor - Information Guide - added on 24/10/2016
If someone has asked you to be the executor (or ‘executor
nominate’ in Scotland) of their estate after their death,
you may be flattered but also wondering what you will
have to do. Being an executor can involve a lot of work and
responsibility, which may go on for months or even years.
You should think carefully about whether you are willing
to act as executor, or indeed whether you are able to.
