Caring for someone with dementia - Information Guide - added on 24/10/2016
If you’ve picked up this guide, you’re probably caring for
someone with dementia or with symptoms that suggest
dementia.
The guide is for anyone caring for someone with dementia,
including partners, family members and friends, whether
you live with the person with dementia or not. Some
information may be more relevant if you live with the person
you’re caring for.
You may be wondering what to expect as the illness
progresses, and where to turn for help. This guide takes you
through what to expect, from getting a referral to a memory
clinic to talking to family and friends about the diagnosis,
joining a carers’ group and more.
